This Elddis Chatsworth Is a 50th anniversary special edition based on the Elddis Avante range and comes with many extras.   Elddis and Swift were at the forefront of the ‘90s development of the layout. The Avante range has a sharp new design for 2013 and boasts Elddis’s new SoLiD construction.

Elddis’s SoLiD construction uses adhesive to join body panels and attach exterior fittings. This reduces paths for water ingress and weight by up to 40kg leaving more flexibility to take the kit you need. Towing safety is enhanced by BPW’s swing V-Tec self-centring axle and Winterhoff stabiliser.

The exterior is smart and shapely and has access to the battery, water pump, toilet unit, off-side under seat area, external BBQ point and a silver-coloured lid that opens to permit access to the full width gas locker.

The mains consumer unit is behind a flap in the nearside seat and a 12V control panel is next to the entrance. Controls for the Whale space and water heater are in the kitchen. This model uses 230V or gas to heat the water and hot air heating.

Living

A lot of thought has gone into the interior of this caravan, with five 230V sockets, including a well thought out socket by the full-length mirror, useful for hair dryers.

The lounge is great for reclining in or seating visitors. The lounge area has a large Heki rooflight and spacious roof lockers. The all-LED lighting impresses, especially the bright, indirect illumination above the lockers and the four spotlights around the seating area.

Kitchen

There is a removable drainer by the large sink. There are twowell-spaced plug sockets.  Opposite the kitchen is a 1.15m long dresser and well-detailed storage and more work surface. The kitchen area includes a full size Dometic fridge, which runs on gas or electric. There is an oven, a hob with three gas burners and an electric hotplate, and grill.  There is also a microwave.

Washroom

This contains a cassette toilet, wash basin and an attractive shower

The wardrobe is spacious and offers capacious shelving and ahanging rail. It also provides storage for the free standing table.

Beds

The two lounge seats can be used as single beds or convert to a comfortable double.

Storage

Two people will be challenged to use all the storage space here. The bed boxes offer plenty of free space. Full length flaps provide easy access to the under seat area, which can also be accessed externally.

The dresser unit will take more than food, pots and pans and there are deep roof lockers for lighter items.

In addition to items mentioned above the caravan comes with the following items:-
